States, including California, Illinois, Texas, Maryland, Nebraska, Washington, Indiana, and Iowa, have banned AI as the sole basis for coverage denials and required human review of AI-assisted decisions.

We didn’t need a law for that. We’ve had people review every result since day one. That will never change.
